Jitendra Bhoir is a traditional folk artist from wada and belongs to the warli community. He has been able to showcase the culture and life style of warli without having any formal training in art. This style of art has been passed on in his family from generation to generation. Jitendra attempts to keep this tradition alive. It has been around 8 years since he has been painting the warli style.
They reflect their society by showcasing day to day life, birds & animals, marriages, festivals and celebration scenes.
Jitendra paints mainly on walls and such paintings are widely done during weddings, festivals like Diwali & Holi.
