Zarrin-Fatima Shamsi (b. 1994, Vadodara, India) is a versatile artist, printmaker, and art educator with a Master’s in Graphic Arts and a Bachelor’s in Painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her works, often inspired by natural objects, delve into emotions and memories, reflecting an organic and experimental approach to printmaking and painting. Zarrin has received several prestigious accolades, including the Manorama Young Printmaker Award (2020) and Special Jury Award by Golden Brush Awards (2021). She has exhibited widely in India and abroad and was featured in Khaleejesque magazine for her innovative experiments with print. In addition, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Printmaking at Kuwait University and as a judge for art critiques at Box Hill College, Kuwait. Currently based in Kuwait, Zarrin continues to explore the depths of printmaking, constantly pushing creative boundaries with each new project.
