Artists

As an artist I like to move on with my works, influenced by surroundings, my work was an attempt to conjoin fragmentary visions of my thoughts, time, and spaces. Mostly in the absence of human beings I am trying to create a space where filled with various forms like landscape-elements, common mundane objects, primary forests and archetypal images. The surrounded images invoke feeling interrelated with from personal or collective memory; feelings such as insecurity, absence, fear/violence, melancholy, love and loneliness.  I explore this emotionality and memory which are an inseparable part of our Worldly existence.

When trying to conjoin all fragmentary things/images into an unity it seems to evokes existential angst, oddly that of the middle class of which I am a part, echoing current day socio-cultural milieu. Each image is created by joining one or more combined frames/pieces. In this process images undergo layers of addition and subtraction and it does confuse eyes by displaying multiple layers of its visual make-up. While accepting the two dimensionality of picture plane I still like to explore within its limitation. I would like to use different mediums and materials for making. Images are mostly from surrounded subjective spaces what we have calling ‘reality’. The landscape elements, common mundane objects, kitchen utensils, trees and flowers, insects etc. are becoming part of my canvas. Its the commonness in nature, transcendental visual experience of subjective daily reality, momentary strangeness it evokes that I try to share with the viewer.
