Artists

The socio-political conditions always fascinate me, since art is not devoid of what happens in the society. Although it may not depict the actual instances, even the monumentality, elaborate work all derive out of the political and social conditions. Knowingly-unknowingly, these ideas develop the forms and characters in my paintings.

My work is not just decorative. All these experiences formulate the imagery, the imagery not the subject itself. Layers of meanings may unfold as the viewer tries to contemplate beyond the beauty.

I want to make the viewer neither happy nor sad; my works are like our lives, seemingly all is fine-looking and ideal, but within we are all broken, worn out, groping in turmoil of situations to surpass.

My works are the face of the expressions within.
