I find the art of representing by lines very strong and I consider drawing as the basis of every pictorial experience. I enjoy the beauty of automatism & spontaneity excites me. I like to experiment with colours, ink & mix media. The shifts in material, mediums, styles, forms to formless, all depend on the journey of my mind and she lets her moods reflect on the chosen medium.

My body of work ranges from line oriented drawings, doodles to free-flowing splashes of colour. Concepts of my works include themes like unconscious mind as a source of art, Monkey mind, Changes within, my eyesight, nature taking over and Self Portraits which is a more obsessive theme than others. I started with creating self portraits which comprise of intricate doodles of flowers blooming from my face. Doodles are considered to be an uninhibited form of self-expression.

Doodles are done in a subconscious state of mind and hence they can be very revealing if analysed doodles bring out deeper meaning and can reflect the personality of the doodler.
